Fall/ Winter 2015-2016 Shoe Trends from fashionisers.com
We have been covering all the fall/ winter 2015-2016 fashion trends seen on the Fashion Week runways at this point, ranging from New York to Paris, London and Milan. We have looked into the colors and the prints, as well as the general styles of clothing pieces you’re going to wear come the cold months. Now, we bring to you the complete fall/ winter 2015-2016 shoe trends report that you have all been waiting for. From Dior’s thick see-through heeled marble boots to the gothic feel of the Alexander Wang designs, we have seen them all and loved them to no end. After all, after diamonds, shoes are a girl’s best friends.
The Fashion Weeks lasted for about a month all together, but we cannot help but
feel like the overload of information appeared to extend the time period. The
clothing was definitely the main focus of the fashion shows overall, as is
usually the case, but when we cast our gazes downwards, closer to the ground, we
were thoroughly captivated by the wide array of fabulous footwear staring back
at us, marching and stomping and sashaying and gliding down the runways. Looking
at all the pieces, we can certainly say that quite a few trends were spotted
amongst the mix, pieces that have grabbed our attention and not very likely to
let go anytime soon. Fancy feet we can call them, but we know better than anyone
that we would be lost without our shoe collections to liven up any outfit we
deem fit to wear for the day.
#1: Classic Pumps
The classic pump was to be seen everywhere on the fall/ winter 2015-2016 runway
shows. It was back in style and looked amazing with cropped trousers, flared
trousers, leather leggings and all. Thin heels or thick, pumps were one of the
biggest fall 2015 shoe styles to hit the stage and we cannot help but jump with
joy for it. From the pink coral colored Vivienne Westwood pieces to white based
Nina Ricci simplistic tones, Balenciaga’s bejewelled cap toes to Celine’s
dazzling designs with the beading and the embellishments, vintage pumps actually
quite often made an appearance on the runway shaping one of the most timeless
shoe styles for fall 2015.
#2: Perfect Ankle Booties
Booties are big for the wintertime and fall months and with good trigger too!
They are simply high enough to endure the snows and keep carefully the feet
warm, until they undertake the condition and type of the Peter Pilotto cut-out
ankle booties, while being low enough high to really showcase legs still. Wool
and natural leather booties appear amazing positively, created by Hugo Boss, as
the furry Fendi edition with their ice sculpture heels can be positively divine.
We rather liked the lace up peep-toe styles by Francesco Scognamiglio also,
along with the dual colored white colored and dark Rodarte pieces.
The zip in leading of the Roland Mouret booties is actually catching our eye,
while those high-heeled BOSS ankle boot styles are mesmerizing when the orange
is added in to the mix positively. We know that of the many other shoe footwear
and developments stampeding about, the graceful walk of the Alexander McQueen
pale peach hued and lace completed booties sticks out from the group with
#3: Peep-Toe Shoes and Sandals
While it is superior that if one programs ongoing out in the fall or winter
periods the feet ought to be well clad and kept warm, there are times and times
using places where it isn't as cold as you'll think and where one can escape
with an open up toe or a sling-back design. You could have the shoes in slim or
thick heels, the material in whatever you wish. For instance, Proenza Schouler
presents a fairly interesting peep-toe design that looks like covered fabric
tied at the beck of the ankle, the heels like thicker copper cylinders. It
really is an excellent look and one, which we'd want to seize at certainly, even
though you may not most of the clothes themselves aren't to our
Narciso Rodriguez likes the open up toe idea also, but he goes for
the peep version of baring them all instead. The open toes show up on many parts
with lacing aswell, such as for example Giambattista Valli, Rodarte, and
Francesco Scognamiglio. Open up toes are matched with heavy heels and a golden
glitter where the Dries Van Noten footwear can be involved and we love the
quirky style of it quite a bit, what with the straps across the top of the foot
and the fanning designs to the sides.
#4: Lace Up Footwear or Gladiator Style
During the spring and summer season runway shows, we were mesmerized by the
amount of gladiator style footwear that appeared on the catwalks, making it one
of the biggest hits for the season. Now, we observe those gladiator shoes take
on new form, as the lacing idea is usually evolved to add character to a whole
slew of different fashion house footwear designs. It is very the lovely addition
to any piece your feet are clad in really and we are happy to see the lacing
adapted to the winter months so well. Speaking of laces, we have some appear on
the Narciso Rodriguez platform heels with the open toes.
On the other hand,
we also have pure gladiator design shoes worn with open up toe stockings with
interesting system heel designs by Rick Owens that fall in to the collections,
which majorly trump the quite interesting lace up knee-high shoes or boots
featured on Erdem. Various other designers who use an identical styling are the
knee high lace ups by Giambattista Valli, the lace up open up toe booties by
Rodarte, the Victorian design intriguing shoes or boots by Altuzarra, and the
thigh high sexy laced up shoes or boots by Vionnet.
#5: Alligator Skin or Snakes? Reptile Shoes
Exotic prints have appeared in many a bit of clothing that is sent straight down
the runway, including alligator epidermis materials that shine shiny and give us
a feeling of warrior talents within the ladies sporting them. It’s like putting
on shark tooth necklaces that inspire someone to have confidence in the wearer’s
boldness and courage, strength and unwavering abilities. Some shoes or boots
like those highlighted by Nicholas Kirkwood for Erdem have got multiple textures
to them, with the tops searching like the alligator epidermis. We start to see
the alligator epidermis design mules with furry edges on the Christian Siriano
NY Fashion Week runway, while some of those Haider Ackermann boots have properly
scaled snakeskin designs certainly. When it though involves snakeskin, Kenzo
certainly takes house the prize for the initial place using its green and red
#6: Chunky Heeled Footwear
This year, the cooler seasons appear to have many different types of footwear
available for them, many of which appear in chunkier heels that are all the more
comfortable for the feet, no matter the height. While you would be teetering on
stilettoes, the chunkier styles provide a whole lot more stability in the long
run, while still looking stylishly sexy. Marc Jacobs offers some lovely
variations in boots which have awesome colors, the stocking-like properties only
adding to their appeal. Chunky heels also appear on mules, such as those heeled
designs found within the Derek Lam collection. Technically, almost every single
designer showcased chunky heeled designs, from Givenchy and Miu Miu to Giorgio Armani, Erdem to Emilio Pucci, Donna Karan and Derek Lam.
#7: Add in the Geometry
While chunky heels are in, a few of the fashion homes have opted to include more
personality to them and, while they aren't quirky, make them similar to artistic
endeavours which appear good when converted into the back heel of a shoe
actually. Maison Margiela sends versions out in beautiful androgynous styles
that are created feminine by modern specifications because of the double-clogged
heels they sport. The Jason Wu sculptural heels perform make use of
two-dimensional geometric shapes, as the earth toned Salvatore Ferragamo items
remind us of rock formations in cubical artistry.
#8: Latex Shoes and Boots
It appears that almost every developer to showcase their collection in the
runway for the fall and winter 2015-2016 seasons found the use of latex to be
actually quite necessary. It is a very practical material, stretching out and
encapsulating the leg, whether in a bootie or thigh high length style. It is
simple to care for, does not require much work with it overall, and emphasizes
the beauty of the limbs it holds within. It is a futuristic appear that people
cannot help but appreciate because of its ingenuity and wonderful aesthetics. We
find Marc Jacobs give us some luscious parts with their heavy heels and purplish
bases, although it may be the Diormarble patterned dual shaded thigh high latex
shoes or boots that basically leave us staring forward in awe.
#9: Narrow with Super Long Noses
This looks beautiful but we all know that many women don’t have very thin and
long feet, but for those who do, the long and narrow nose of the shoes will look
fantastic! Many designers stuck to engineering their footwear with this style
and ideal however, which slightly defies the whole comfort aspect that has been
the main theme of the 1970s fashions brought to the modern era. We have Versace
shoes in two colours and three materials that basically are captivating, while Dolce & Gabbana gave all of us a peek at beautiful sling back reddish colored feminine boots and
shoes with a furry body pertaining to added texture. Pointy-toe sneakers
appearance quirky and fun in the Miu collection absolutely.
#10: Stocking Boots
Stocking boots are extremely pretty general and actually quite comfortable in
themselves. It suits the foot and leg perfectly, including on ladies with soccer
calves like me, looking particularly glamorous when fitted in fashion latex and
lacquered leather. It complements the whole outfit and also really looks
beautiful on the limbs. Givenchy does the same with its booties, the solid and
chunky heels hanging back while the ankles up to the calves are encased in
stretchy material. Alexander McQueen and Christian Dior also display the
tendency of stocking boots in their fall collections.
#11: Low Heeled Shoes
While many of the fall 2015 shoes showcased on the runway shows have rather high
heels, others are pretty short or almost flat. They come in platforms and kitten
heels and a whole slew of designs. We especially love the platforms that are low
on the boots, including that which was featured by Nicholas Kirkwood for Erdem.
Of course, the Oxford shoes cannot be ignored either, particularly where the Michael Kors styles have a small amount of heel to them, thick and sturdy and actually quite
simply very comfortable.
#12: Hairy/Furry Shoes
Most likely the most prominent trend in footwear to be observed on the runway
may be the furry/hairy look that means it is looks as if you have turned small
fuzzball animals into your shoes. It reigned supreme on the spring/ summer
months runways as well, and has rolled in to the colder seasons of the entire
year, showing how well-known it is becoming. Yet, we need to question at the
reputation of footwear that's more fitted to children’s cartoon individuals than
on your foot, figments of one’s creativity on drugs become more active. Furry
slides had been a major portion of the Vionnet runway, with ribbon strappings on
the hip and legs looking as though they are reducing off the circulation on some
Perhaps a few of the craziest hairy shoes were the shoes or boots and mules in
Maison Margiela that actually appeared as if one was stepping in animals and
cleaning the floors with them, while Tibi brings about its Moroccan mules that
are protected in fur that appears like it had been freshly sheared from a sheep.
The fur even makes it onto two strap Blumarine sandals, which are better suited
for the finish line of summer season than for the chillier autumn and winter
We are not entirely sure, but those furry covers on the Antonio Marras slides
might be able to keep your feet warm enough in certain parts of the world, so
long as the temperatures are not dipping to 0. Of course , no other furry bootie
could match the perfection of the Fendi ice sculpture inspired heels on the
furry pieces.Gucci also has some funky interpretations of a fur shoes for summer 2015, as well as A
Détacher exactly fur meets a quirky unit.
#13: Beaded or Jewelled Shoes
Another big trend was the whole line-up of jewel patterned or bead embellished
shoes, including the Kate Spade designs. These pieces are interesting to say the
least and throw in a whole lot of fab glam attitude for the wearer. Why not
allow yourself to feel like a diva? If you are looking for crazy designs on
heels, we do recommend checking out the ankle strapped Rochas styles, where it
seems as if Xmas is in the new air, as the amazing gilded artwork on the iceberg
heels within the Roberto Cavalli collection is a satisfactory amount of to revive regular faith in the style
globe, that’s how beautiful they truly are.
And of course, this pattern could never before go without the gorgeous Puro plus
Gabbana bejewelled shoes! On the other hand, Delpozo decided to come up with
more interesting options using interesting appliqués on the leather little feet
#14: Space Age Shoes
Since many of the designers were looking rather than focusing on the past
forwards, it’s only best that people saw many footwear coats which took under
consideration heelless systems with quirky, bizarre and space-age geometric
shapes entirely, such as for example that by Arco Van Herpen. The quirkiness and
colors of a few of the heels, like the ankle strapped, pompom accented Sophia
Webster designs are also essential, establishing metallic silver the perfect
colorings for the futuristic styles. The space age would not continually be
total without the H&M footwear in that precise hue.
#15: Slippers, Slides and Mules
When there is one trend which has still left us flabbergasted utterly, it's the
comeback of the charentaise, while we see house slippers getting paraded around
on stage also. Mind you, heavy flat mules by Derek Lam aren't truly so bad, but
these sneakers are so not really our styles in nearly any time or space, taking
into consideration the imbalance between your front and back again as well as ,
the actual fact that your foot 'll end up being straining wither so as to
maintain them on or even to breathe, based on the size you for really obtain.
Thakoon’s mule booties appear quite awesome so as to us, what with the natural
leather and velvet and lacing, though that you want to see a few of the
funniest, most strange pieces incredibly, it would need to be the Vionnet fur
slides with ribbon strapping all of the real method up the legs.
Again then, the Proenza Schouler crafted mules fell in to the same way strange
category, dark, black and white colored pulling collectively a graphic and
raw-edges design that certainly has gone well with those stylish fishnet
stockings. Furry mules had been a pretty big factor where Domicile Margiela was
worried aswell, with those sneakers resembling these were underneath ends of
this dusting broom. Tibi does offer even more variants in the wool treated
mules, which appear to be the sheep was as sheared much like the fur-protected
Antonio Marras slides newly. Towering fur adorned alligator pores and skin
printed mules are extremely really to our liking, despite being truly a mule, as
we aren't the largest fans of the entire design of the footwear.
#16: Thigh High Boots
Such lots of the boot styles seen in the style Week runway back to the inside
possibly ended at mid-calf or enjoyed climbing an individual's way up to the
guts for the thighs, including the bulky and then Eskimo style warm Moschino
quilted shoes. It was good to observe MSGM shake its way into this excellent
trend as well, with its multitude of bright over-the-knee shoes in graphic heels
and assigned toes. Thigh high shoes take on a new look in cases where Gareth
Pugh is usually moving, making his chunky pieces look perfect for wading from
water. The marble designed latex shoes by Dior were probably some of the 1st
pieces to make us are categorized in love with this height during this fall and
winter season’s runway shows. Those simple Calvin Klein shoes plus the Emilio
Pucci patterned options are most likely our all- time favorites from the whole
of the libraries presented over the past few weeks.
#17: Letters on Shoes
Creator houses like to brand every single one of their parts, often having the
logo design appear even all around the shoes, such as for example with the
Versace shoes, and other moments literally having the phrases spelled out, as
was the case that includes the appearance of the famous gold bullion letters of
Moschino concerning the bulked up lace connected shoes that looked actually
quite warm with all that making quilts, the tassels swinging by the center of
the top bank.
#18: Sandals with Socks
Though we normally detest some sort of sandal with socks seek that lots of
appear to want and flaunt, the fall/winter selections saw many designers
generate the sandals or open up concept sneakers with inventory and tights
choices on your forefront, plus they certainly were not as hideous as we
expected them to be. We’re thinking about those gorgeous Versace platform
sandals with the matching tights in black and red, the several ankle straps only
contributing to the beauty and the stability of your shoe. We’re also thinking
about the stockings with the gladiator boots by Rick Owens that really catches
Stockings also come in fishnet looks, as is the case on the Saint
Laurent runway, wherein the more gothic styles with rivets and spikes appear,
the black sandals accented with silver buckles and embellishments. Stella Jean’s
platform sandals matched with the thick socks look so cozy and comfy, just like
the Tory Burch sandals do.
#19: Shoes with Toe Caps
In all probability among the best toe capped natural beauty seen about the
catwalk for the fall and as well , winter seasons has been the Chanel pumps
which were specifically utilized about each and every model that may sashayed
onto the make fun of runway. And there have been many others with an identical
attitude then, adding comparison and color with their shoes by capping the toes,
such as for example on the MSGM over-the-knee fashion styles, and the bejewelled
Balenciaga pumps that look so beautiful on and off the runway incredibly.
#20: Graphic Shoes
Many of the fall 2015 shoes and then shoes to appear on the runway shows
actually included a bit of type of graphic chemical, whether it came in the
shape of patching or marbles or any other form of graphics, such as the MSGM
angle regarding heels and foot hats or the Fendi ankle joint booties with the
graphic design acting in the centre. The graphics on boot styles come in the
Vivienne Westwood collection also, among many others, right here taking on the
complete phrases and graffiti on natural leather idea, the heels in system and
the very best edge springing up over the knees.
#21: Punk Shoes
You can go punk or you can go Goth but at the end of the day, what you are doing
is adding studs, buckles, leather and a chunky physique to the footwear so that
this fits in with the theme you will 're going for. Alexander Wang was the one
designer in whose biggest inspiration was this kind of punk/Goth world with his
intense creeper boots literally looking like clunky buckled clompers heading
down a neo-punk runway, though Marc by Marc Jacobs certainly does stick its toes
into the theme as well, going for upper leg high footwear that are made from
leather and include all that was first described which defines finally, the
items. Saint Laurent’s stiletto sandals with the spikes and ankle strap, worn
with fishnet stockings certainly defy the general trends and give off a more
edgy, dangerous hooker look that may be a little too appealing to some.
#22: Going Quirky
Quirky shoes come in all shapes and sizes but we threw into this category all
those that really were something else altogether. This includes the Jason Wu
sculptural heels, as well as the J. Crew tasselled styles, while the quirkiest
of all were probably the pompom accented futuristic looks by Sophia Webster.
Quirky looks good on Lemaire, with the house’s intriguing take on mule and
kitten heel and pump combination in a lovely gentle grey.
interesting quirky piece is the Miu flats with the large buckles, the yellow and
orange and white coloring, as well as the perfectly understated Oxford look,
though that’s got nothing at all about that golden glitter pink tinged chunky
heeled sling back again shoe style that as well gets control the runway. We like
the unusual shoe styles by BCBG Max Azria also, the funky heels and so oversized
buckles of the Pimples Studios shoes, along with the insane Prada boots.
#23: Rubber Wader Boots
An individual had to develop boots that could not ruin if faced by or soaked
during drinking water, making the Gareth Pugh lower rubber wader boots right, in
effort with Meliss, the frolicsome actuality to the designer’s dark romance
appeal. Hunter Original and Balenciaga also offer stylish rubber boots for fall
#24: Letting in the Air
While most designers decided to keep the footwear to the closed up Oxfords and
boots, some like Celine went out of their way to let as much air in as possible.
Last season they had the block heeled ballet flats, which have been modified for
the fall and winter season to include an open weave and pastel jewelled
embellishments, the toe appearing to be more of a duck bill. There were many
sandals to be found as well, alongside gladiator shoes and the open back designs
of the mules.
#25: Ice Sculpture Heels
Block heels were in certainly, and we knew that creators will be playing about
due to the idea, but what we didn't expect was the ice figurine heeled boot
styles in Fendi that looked positively bright with their furry bodies. The
iceberg heels make it onto the Roberto Cavalli runway also, if they are not
really shaped like sculptures even. They though are perfect, with the gilded
styles, the look out of heel and the over ankle amount of the pieces just. The
banquise look requires a yellow hue with Christian Dior since beautiful booties
are shown, providing this trend a complete new outlook that people are not able
to complain about. The iceberg heels show up within the Vionnet collection also,
associated with a futuristic experience and so two-toned style. Lucite pumps
look definitely divine inside Dolce and also Gabbana range and incredibly
bizarre inside Simone Rocha style range.
#26: Preferring the Kitten Heels
The kitten heels have seemed somewhat pointless constantly, because they lessen
stability with no adding height, appearing due to very long noses generally
within the fall/winter runway demonstrates will definitely be crushing the toes
collectively. We know about taking the discomfort for beauty, but what we can
not understand can be when which usually beauty can be minimal when compared to
discomfort included. Kitten pumps marked with the Versace mark on footwear that
are several colours and three components certainly consider the dessert in this
arena, as the MSGM kitten heels certainly are an intriguing modern undertake the
Marie Antoinette design rather. Carolina Herrera, Coach, Miu miu and many more
feature kitten heel sneakers within their fall collections also.
#27: Velvet Shoes
Purple velvet was a huge thing through the entire Fashion Weeks, looked after
mirrored in the sneakers which were donned by the versions finding on the
catwalk showing apart the most recent pieces by the style houses. Velvet helps
it be on loafers within the Mom from Pearl show, and also the big heeled booties
for Givenchy, beautiful purple sling-backs by simply Dolce and also Gabbana,
gold heeled intriguing booties by simply Emilio Pucci and beautiful gilded
designed Stella McCartney parts.
#28: Special Sneakers and Sporty Shoes
Sneakers are totally in and have been for a few seasons now. We have fall in
love with the appearance that maintains changing the ideal designs. It was
coming from simple to a whole range of embellished, which is probably so why we
cannot help but love the Markus Lupfer stitched sneakers with their Marsala
colors and white contrasts, finally, the sparkles and the workmanship the fact
that went into the overall styles. And then we have the Ports 1961 tie top
sneakers that come in white, the fabric ties on top and they are quirky enough
to help you be considered flawlessly stylish!
Celine’s real white pieces also
make the trend, though they are not nearly as lavish as the pieces from some of
the other manufacturers to showcase their collections. Sporty shoes look so
feminine in the Tommy Hilfiger collection, where we see a color-blocked leather
design with lace-up details on a sand wedge.
#29: Suede Shoes Look Really Good
Although leather was applied to thus lots of the pieces designed for jogging,
suede came in a close 1 / 3 or second, according to the style Workweek attended.
Whether we’re speaking Matthew Williamson fringes and also the thigh high boot
styles together with the stiletto heels and patched styles by Burberry Prorsum,
that suede is known by us is among the best materials to use when considering
creating new footwear. Suede does look great really, when blended with actual
leather especially, with a few styles stitched in perhaps, such as may be the
complete case with the Isabel Marant collection.
#30: Fringed Booties
Since we are taking key inspiration from the 1970s decade, the suede fringed
shoes or boots are so very much in style, looking good on the catwalk. This
includes the booties designed by Matthew Williamson, alongside the gorgeous
Burberry totally Western shoes that, with no doubt, belong on the saddle.
Rebecca Minkoff also uses loads of fringes for her ankle booties and knee-length
boots coming in different colors.
#31: Loafer Loving
When there is one kind of shoe most of us hate to like, in no way like to hate,
it's the loafer. They are toned, comfy and trending for the fall and wintertime
seasons utterly. Mi-journée skirts could be paired with one of the schoolgirl
shoes and boots, filled with scrunched up white socks which have been brought
right down to one of the ankles, and quite bright white bows over the blue
purple velvet epidermis, as we find for the Mom of Pearl catwalk. We love
Prada’s futuristic loafers and Gucci’s chic fur-trimmed options also.
#32: Strapping the Ankles
The ankle strapped look is always quite flattering, thinning out the portion
where leg meets foot and adding definition to the whole of the limb. It was
certainly a common enough look on the fall/winter shows, appearing sometimes as
an individual strap surrounding the ankle or within your strappy combination,
such as for example is the complete case with the Narciso Rodriguez peep-toe
system heels. Gorgeous ankle straps show up on the brownish and white
thick-heeled Mulberry shoes or boots, which appear like they might be ideal for
the springtime and summer along with the show up at this time.
secured up in the quirky Sophia Webster runway with individuals pompom-accented
stiletto heels, even though Blumarine gives double secured sandals with a furry
advantage. Balmain’s ankle strapped heels appear best within their violet hue
and with gilded pumps to up the ante.
#33: Bringing on the Mary Jane
People used to maintain love because of Mary Jane design shoes and boots with
those straps in the front and the whole litttle lady converted schoolgirl ideal.
It seems just as if the one strapped Martha Jane sneakers are lower back, but
we've added another strap also, meaning that some parts, like those spotted for
the Prada display, take on today's Mary Jane double-strapped charm. Mary
Katrantzou also creates the dual strapped appear and her parts search positively
divine within their shiny orange coloring and preferably high ideal platform
pumps. Beautiful sunshine yellow edition with one straps and as well , quite
buckles enter into use the Rag + Cuboid present, while we know that people will
end up being rummaging by using our closets for previous pieces in this design
to complement the trending fashions.
#34: Adding the Oxford Shoes
As we have mentioned previously having loafers among the fall/ winter 2015-2016
footwear trends, we have to make be aware of the Oxford sneakers also, which
were warmed into androgynous patterns, or just had gingham put into the look to
be able to create these incredibly eye- getting Simone Rocha gingham Oxford
shoes and boots. Somehow, that look by itself is as well sporty or masculine
somewhat, which implies that a developer like Preen must think of a colorful,
multi-fabric kind of Oxford heels, which we find amusing rather. Double buckled
Oxford sneakers make the trim also, specially the Michael Kors edition with the
thick moderate height heels.
#35: Mixing the Androgynous with the Feminine
One of the primary fall 2015 trends generally is the blending of the strong and
the feminine, from wobbly, boxier clothes to simple styles. It really is no
wonder that people see the shoes undertake much the same look, though with heels
that are contemporary feminine intrinsically. We declare contemporary, because
lately one of the high heels had been a manifestation of the masculine
identification. One of the androgynous appears with the elegant heels could be
spotted in many a runway display, like the geometric heeled designs on Maison
Margiela, as well as the thick stiletto lace " up " ankle shoes found on the
Ralph Lauren runway.
If we are talking androgynous, there is the Hugo Boss
wool and then leather booties that meet the bill. We have to say that all the
Oxford shoes most definitely fall into the androgynous category, coming from
Michael Kors to Preen. Designers that required this kind of trend to heart
include Vera Wang, Lanvin, Balenciaga, and Coach, while Isabel Marant’s rivets
do very much to give its leather booties scrumptious charm.
#36: High on Platforms
We know that the 1970s had platforms all over the place and so we were totally expecting for the trend to pop back up in the footwear presented during this year that has taken so much of its major inspirations from that era. We were not disappointed in the least as the olden looks were brought back and presented from fresh new perspectives and unexpected angles, the platform heels appearing in tandem with peep-toes and strappy looks like with the Narciso Rodriguez designs or the Mary Katrantzou Mary Jane looks. DKNY, Fendi and Sportmax also have uber-cool platform shoes for fall 2015.
#37: Two Tone Shoes
The two-tone styles appear all around the accepted place really, from Chanel to
Prada, and we can not help although love them. Some come in marbled designs, or
with the bottom part a color unique of you see, the body seen from the best,
while others possess caps and/or more geometric in style, preferring right lines
to curves any day time. Prada offers Mary Jane shoes and calf-length shoes that
follow this line of thought, while Mulberry offers gorgeous ankle strapped heels
in brown and white.
Two-tone brogues are also in, as we saw about finally,
the Banana Republic runway, even though nothing beats the thigh-high Dior latex
shoes on dual colored marble patterning. There is no way we don’t fall in love
with the Stella McCartney teal and black booties, or with Carven’s solid heeled
sling back lilac and white shoes that really had us fascinated from the start of
#38: Going Barefoot
One of the wackiest, most out of the community “shoe trend” was found on the
Jacquemus show, where we saw bare boxes and jutting nipples and also the no
footwear trend. Some designers did not choose this certainly, it had been crazy
enough to create it onto this list. We are certainly wanting to know if most
people shall in fact opt to walk barefoot on the roads regularly, though we
realize for the truth that a lot of women have got walked at least a little
stretching without sneakers when all their heels possess harm truly badly by the
finish concerning the night time: ).
